What is the Max Card?
The Max Card is a discount card for families of children with additional needs and foster families. Families can use their Max Card at venues across the UK to get free or discounted admission.
The scheme is designed to help families save money on great days out at castles, zoos, bowling alleys, trampoline parks and many more.
Max Card work with local authorities and selected charities, who administer the cards to eligible families in their area.

RNIB is also working to distribute Max Cards free to families of children and young people with vision impairment across the UK. If you are the parent/carer of a child or young person with VI and would like to apply for a Max Card, all you need to do is:
- email [email protected]
- write ‘Max Card’ in the subject line
- look out for our reply (you may need to check your junk folders!)
Cards are subject to availability and issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
