Where can I find national curriculum resources in accessible formats for children and young people with a vision impairment?

RNIB Bookshare provides downloadable accessible textbooks and images to support learners with print impairments which mean they have difficulty reading standard print.

Using these files, you can produce curriculum resources in large print, braille or electronic format to suit your learners' needs. The service is free to educators in the UK, while there is an annual membership fee of £150 for Online Schools, Learning Support Centres, Tutoring Services, and non-UK organisations.

Further information on how to use the service and access the resources can be found on RNIB's Bookshare webpages.

Custom Eyes, Clearvision, Calibre and Living Paintings also offer curriculum resources for children, for further information see Where can I borrow books for my child with a vision impairment?
