How do you guide someone with a guide dog?
Even if a person is using a guide dog they may still require guiding assistance. A guide dog owner may indicate the need for assistance by letting the harness-handle lie on the dog's back.
The general rules for guiding such as giving clear instructions, describing obstacles, leaving room and not pushing or pulling a person when you are guiding them also apply when guiding someone with a guide dog. However, there are extra things that you should consider, such as making sure you approach the person from the opposite side to where their dog is and leaving extra room for to accommodate the guide dog.
