My computer has stopped talking, what do I do?
A common cause of this problem is that the speech on your screen reader has been paused. Here some shortcuts to resume speech on the most popular screen readers:
- JAWS - Insert + down arrow
- NVDA - The shift key resumes speech if it was paused, or you can toggle Speech Mode using NVDA modifier key + s (by default, the NVDA modifier key is the Insert key).
- Supernova - Left Control + 0 [Alt + Control + 0]
- VoiceOver - Command-F5.
