My phone won't work, what should I do?

If you experience any problems with your phone, try the following as starting point:

Mobile phones

  • Try your charger in another plug socket
  • If your phone still has some battery left, turn it off, leave it for a few minutes then re start it
  • Try another compatible charger.

Landline phones

  • Try a different telephone socket
  • Check any other phones in your house, to see if they have the same problem
  • Check with your neighbours, it might not just be your line that has issues
  • Call your service provider, they can do a line check for you.
