Where can I find out more about eye research?
Tragically, eye research has been underfunded for many, many years. When you compare it to funding for other long-term conditions such as cancer, dementia or stroke.
It's a neglected area and needs more initiatives backed by the government with the commitment of resource and skills and expertise to open up a new frontier of research.
Fight for Sight provides funding to support important research through and work in partnership with other organisations in the sight loss sector, including the Royal Society of Medicine and the Royal College of Ophthalmology.
